Technical/Functional Expert (HPC)

Salary: $49,996.80–$290,004.00 per year

What you will do

• Provide advanced troubleshooting, tuning, and support for HPC infrastructure and applications, including Nagios, xCAT, failover software, and compilers.
• Support distributed computing environments using RES, LSF, and SLURM workload managers.
• Administer high-performance parallel file systems, including XFS, GPFS, and Lustre.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system performance, resource utilization, and fault tolerance.
• Conduct system testing and validation for seamless integration and operational efficiency.
• Maintain system configuration, procedure, and troubleshooting documentation.

Requirements

• 10 years of experience in a large, complex IT environment providing functional industry expertise.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, or 15 years of relevant experience in lieu of the degree.
• Experience with HPC MPP systems.
• Experience with enterprise Linux operating systems, specifically Red Hat and SUSE.
• Current government clearance, background investigation, and polygraph required.
