Director, IT and Digital Transformation

Salary: $175,000–$195,000 per year, depending on experience

What you will do

• Act as the primary digital interface for US business units, identifying local business needs and regional technology priorities.
• Implement global digital products and solutions locally to improve business efficiency and user services.
• Monitor US technology trends and provide feedback for global product optimization.
• Build strategic partnerships with US technology companies, startups, and research institutions, including leading technology collaboration negotiations.
• Promote AI and BioSecurity technologies, implementing AI use cases from pilot through scale and developing technology advocacy programs.
• Lead the performance of the US IT Operations and Maintenance team through goal setting, coaching, operational oversight, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Fluent Mandarin Chinese and English required.
• At least 8 years of experience in technology, digital transformation, or business development.
• Strong connections within the US technology ecosystem and experience in complex multinational and cross-cultural organizations.
• Exceptional communication, influencing, and technology evangelism skills.
• Strong business-technology judgment and expertise in AI, BioSecurity, emerging technologies, and their commercial applications.
• Self-driven, resilient, culturally agile, and comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous, international environments.
