Senior Preconstruction Manager

What you will do

• Lead and manage multiple preconstruction projects with preconstruction managers, assistant managers, project engineers, and shared resources.
• Deliver preconstruction services from initial program design through completion of final construction documents.
• Prepare feasibility studies, conceptual-to-final budget estimates, comparative studies, value engineering analyses, and bidding deliverables.
• Analyze pricing using market conditions, historical data, material escalation, internal estimates, and subcontractor input.
• Coordinate owners, designers, consultants, and operations teams to transition projects into construction.
• Present proposals and strategic recommendations to internal and external clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, or a related field preferred.
• At least 7 years of related commercial construction experience.
• Experience leading preconstruction management on several projects and supervising or developing others.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel; On-Screen Takeoff; and Adobe products, including Bluebeam.
• Knowledge of building systems, construction drawings and specifications, project scheduling with P6, phasing, logistics, geotechnical reports, building codes, and LEED requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, leadership, decision-making, collaboration, and client relationship skills.
