Project Coordinator (Mechanical) (Industrial Construction): Coordinating mechanical construction projects in field and office settings with an accent on project controls, cost tracking, scheduling, billing, and production reporting. Focus on documenting quantities and testing results, updating schedules and plans, and coordinating management, technicians, subcontractors, inspectors, and customers to deliver safe and profitable work.
Location: Ellendale, North Dakota (onsite); work includes frequent visits to outdoor construction sites.

What you will do
- Coordinate industrial construction projects and help establish daily priorities.
- Track timecards, project costs, production quantities, yield statistics, inventory, revenue, and job controls.
- Prepare billing, reporting, project diaries, historical production data, and margin-related documentation.
- Document schedule delays, update schedules, and distribute changes to project plans and specifications.
- Coordinate project communication among management, technicians, superintendents, customers, owners, agencies, subcontractors, and inspectors.
- Document pipeline sampling and testing results while supporting safe, efficient, and profitable project delivery.
Requirements
- Experience in the construction industry; a bachelor’s degree in construction management is preferred.
- Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel, with competence across Microsoft products and scheduling tools.
- Strong communication, prioritization, teamwork, and work ethic in a fast-moving, high-production environment.
- Willingness to work in both field and office settings and to visit outdoor construction sites exposed to weather, noise, dust, chemicals, and other environmental factors.
- Valid driver’s license and proof of insurability; driving records are subject to a DMV background search.
- Compliance with safety regulations, personal protective equipment requirements, and environmental health and safety policies.
