Vice President, Residential Credit Analyst

Location: New York, United States

Base salary: $250,000–$275,000 per year, plus discretionary bonus incentives and benefits.

What you will do

• Evaluate new and existing investments through credit analysis, cash flow modeling, collateral review, and relative value analysis.
• Conduct market and collateral research to support investment decisions.
• Structure, execute, and manage private credit investments while monitoring portfolio risk.
• Prepare investment memoranda, presentations, and investment committee materials.
• Develop analytical tools for structured real estate credit investing.
• Partner with Asset-Backed Finance and other investment teams on underwriting, portfolio management, financing, and client communications.

Requirements

• 5+ years of residential credit investment experience at an asset management firm or investment bank.
• Strong experience analyzing non-agency RMBS and structured credit investments.
• Expertise in underwriting, valuation, and financial modeling.
• Proficiency with Bloomberg, Intex, CoreLogic, and non-agency mortgage datasets.
• Bachelor’s degree required; a mathematics or science degree is strongly preferred.
• Excellent analytical, communication, presentation, judgment, prioritization, and collaboration skills.
