U.S. RMBS Credit Ratings, Vice President – New York (Structured Finance)

Location: New York, United States; hybrid work with four days in-office each week

Base salary: $113,308.00–$178,794.66 annually, plus a 30% annual incentive target.

What you will do

• Lead analysis of structured finance transactions and present findings to rating committees.
• Assess collateral, deal structures, credit issues, and legal documents for new U.S. RMBS ratings.
• Test cash flows and evaluate the accuracy and robustness of cash flow models.
• Perform scenario and sensitivity analysis and communicate results to senior colleagues.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of structured finance criteria and models.
• Publish industry commentaries and newsletters while building relationships with bankers, investors, and originators.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, mathematics, economics, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of structured finance experience.
• Strong understanding of credit and legal aspects of structured finance transactions in residential mortgage products.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, written, verbal, and interpersonal skills with close attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with structured products markets and fixed-income analytical systems such as Intex and Bloomberg.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in finance, mathematics, economics, computer science, or a related field.
• VBA, Python, or other basic programming skills.
