Intern - Biotechnologist (Protein)

What you will do

• Perform resuscitation, passage, transfection, culture, and other experiments with mammalian cells, including HEK293 and CHO.
• Analyze and process cell-culture data and prepare experimental records and reports.
• Operate bioreactors and centrifuges, and prepare buffers and reagents.
• Purify recombinant antibodies and proteins using affinity, ion-exchange, size-exclusion chromatography, and other methods.
• Develop suitable purification schemes according to order requirements.
• Formulate and update SOPs, manage laboratory instruments, and perform maintenance as required.

Requirements

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences, Life Sciences, Bioengineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Practical laboratory experience with recombinant protein or antibody expression.
• Familiarity with mammalian cell culture, chromatography, SDS-PAGE, Western blot, HPLC, and other protein-detection techniques.
• Good troubleshooting, communication, teamwork, resilience, and ability to work under pressure.
• Availability for 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week, with 2 rest days that may not always fall on weekends.
