Associate Biotech Production Specialist (Overnights) (Biotechnology)

Location: Rensselaer, New York, United States. Onsite, full-time third shift from 10:00 p.m. to 8:30 a.m., with potential weekend shifts and occasional on-call flexibility.

What you will do

• Perform drug production activities in a clean room, including cell culture and monoclonal antibody purification.
• Complete and review batch records and logbooks according to cGMP and SOP requirements.
• Perform in-process sampling and analysis of buffer solutions, cell cultures, and drug substances.
• Operate bioreactors, chromatography columns, filtration skids, and other automated equipment.
• Support equipment start-up, troubleshooting, validation, and continuous process improvement.
• Partner with R&D teams to implement new manufacturing processes and technologies.

Requirements

• High school diploma and four years of relevant work experience, or an associate, bachelor’s, or related degree in life sciences.
• Ability to work the full overnight shift in a clean room for up to 10 hours.
• Ability to wear full cleanroom attire and remove jewelry, makeup, and nail adornments during gowning.
• Ability to bend, climb, crawl, kneel, reach overhead, stand, walk, and lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a highly regulated manufacturing environment and follow cGMP and SOP procedures.
