Maintenance Technician III (Electrical and Mechanical Equipment)

Location: Onsite manufacturing and facilities maintenance role; second shift from 2:00pm to 10:30pm.

Pay range: $30–$39 per hour, plus a $3.00 shift differential.

What you will do

• Troubleshoot, install, and repair complex electrical and mechanical equipment, including manual and automated machinery.
• Maintain process controls, electronic controls, secondary distribution systems, house wiring, and three-phase industrial power.
• Perform maintenance on machines, conveyors, structural materials, and facilities, including welding, metal fabrication, carpentry, plumbing, and construction work.
• Communicate repair status and expected downtime to maintenance and production leadership.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules with the Maintenance Supervisor and Manager.
• Document completed work, inspect repairs, follow safety procedures, and train other maintenance employees.

Requirements

• Experience using small hand and power tools, with basic computer skills.
• Ability to read and work from construction, mechanical, and electrical drawings.
• Basic skills in light metal fabrication, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work.
• Ability to independently install, maintain, and repair manual and automated machinery and follow complex equipment instructions.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of work experience and skill development.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English.

Nice to have

• At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• At least 5 years of experience installing, maintaining, and repairing manual and automated machinery.
• At least 5 years of building maintenance experience.
