Engineering Program Manager (FPGA)

Location: Penang, Malaysia. The position requires satisfactory proof of the right to work in Malaysia.

What you will do

• Drive FPGA silicon programs through architecture, design, verification, validation, and release.
• Coordinate execution across Silicon, Software, Soft IP, Packaging, Test, Operations, and Marketing teams.
• Translate product requirements into working plans covering scope, schedules, resources, risks, and reporting.
• Align program roles, responsibilities, metrics, requirements, and deliverables.
• Resolve cross-functional issues and communicate decisions, progress, and risks to executive stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar field.
• 5+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry, including at least 2 years in program management.
• Experience with integrated-circuit, packaging, validation, qualification, IP, or software-tool product lifecycles.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams with multiple internal and external dependencies.
• Strong verbal and written communication, alignment, accountability, and delivery skills.
• Must have the right to work in Malaysia.

Nice to have

• PMP certification.
• Knowledge or experience with FPGAs.
• Interest in using AI to improve program-management efficiency.
