Location: Onsite in Pasir Gudang, Johor Bahru, Malaysia

What you will do
- Execute sourcing strategies for key commodities, ensuring supply continuity, cost optimization, and supplier performance.
- Own material cost management, localization, new product releases, and product lifecycle sourcing deliverables.
- Coordinate with engineering, commodity management, NPI, project transfer, planning, and local sourcing teams.
- Assess supplier capacity, capability, quality, delivery, compliance, and long-term supply chain risks.
- Lead negotiations for pricing, terms, service levels, and long-term supply agreements while maintaining contract compliance.
- Track program risks, support demand and inventory planning, and participate in make-versus-buy decisions and supplier transitions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, engineering, or a related field.
- 7–12 years of experience in procurement, category management, commodity management, or sourcing, including 3+ years in NPI or program management.
- Experience managing global suppliers and commodity categories such as electronics, metals, plastics, mechanicals, and chemicals.
- Ability to interpret technical documents, drawings, blueprints, product specifications, material tolerances, finish specifications, and GD&T requirements.
- Proven experience in cost savings, supplier negotiations, international purchasing, sourcing strategy, and cross-functional program leadership.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project; semiconductor equipment manufacturing experience is highly desirable.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree or professional certification such as CPM, CPSM, or APICS.
- Lean Six Sigma training or certification.
- Experience with supplier bases in Southeast Asia.
