Senior Quality Engineer

Location: Maplewood, Minnesota, United States. On-site working model requiring at least four days per week at the hirify.global Center; remote work from Arizona is also stated as an option. Travel of up to 25% may be required. Relocation assistance may be authorized.

Salary: $124,127–$151,710 annually, including base pay and variable incentive pay if eligible.

What you will do

• Drive quality tools for new product introduction, including House of Quality, DQM, MSA, product qualification, PPAP, PFMEA, DFMEA, and phase-gate preparation.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, customer requirements, internal requirements, and quality standards such as ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
• Apply statistical techniques and data-driven analysis as a subject matter expert.
• Lead continuous improvement and defect-reduction activities using root-cause investigation, CAPA, kaizen, 8D, FMEA, MSA, design of experiments, and control plans.
• Review customer product complaints and support timely feedback and resolution.
• Support existing product evolution through change management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, completed and verified before starting.
• At least three years of experience in a quality or manufacturing setting.
• Advanced expertise in multiple quality disciplines, including quality assurance, product quality control, Six Sigma, ISO standards, or warranty analysis.
• Experience administering and maintaining ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
• Experience with Statistical Process Control and advanced analytical methods for improving quality performance.
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong project management experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills for engaging leadership, customers, peers, teams, and regulatory stakeholders.
