Client Service Manager (Cybersecurity)

Location: Hybrid role based in Albany, NY, or the greater New York area, with regular travel to Albany. Relocation to Albany is supported.

What you will do

• Serve as the dedicated primary contact for one managed security services client.
• Build trust with stakeholders, anticipate needs, and resolve concerns before escalation.
• Oversee service delivery against SLAs, monitor performance metrics, and coordinate issue resolution with technical teams.
• Manage client-specific service delivery projects and implementations.
• Provide updates and reports on service performance, security incidents, posture, and trends.
• Translate client direction into clear, actionable guidance for internal delivery teams and support security awareness activities.

Requirements

• Education in information security or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Professional experience in an MSP or MSSP environment.
• Hands-on experience with Splunk and CrowdStrike is required.
• Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience managing client relationships, handling stakeholder direction, and coordinating delivery teams.
• Must be based in Albany, NY, willing to relocate there, or based elsewhere in the NY area with availability for regular travel to Albany.

Nice to have

• CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CISM certification.
• Familiarity with Jira and Armis.
• Experience in the IT or security industry and in embedded, single-client delivery models.
