Base salary: GBP 62,000–94,000 per year, plus performance-based variable compensation.

What you will do

• Evaluate potential longevity transactions and assess their suitability for further investigation.
• Lead modelling, costing, data analysis, basis selection, and pricing for longevity transactions.
• Formulate solutions for client needs and internal pricing challenges.
• Maintain and develop longevity pricing processes and the costing framework.
• Lead or support ad-hoc projects and research in the longevity field.

Requirements

• Fully qualified actuary with substantial experience in life and health insurance.
• Proven expertise in longevity transactions and actuarial pricing.
• Experience in mortality analysis.
• Proficiency in Excel, VBA, and other programming environments such as Python.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, independent decision-making, workload management, and collaboration skills.
• Strong commercial acumen and client communication skills.
