Pricing Actuary (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Provide actuarial and analytical support to the Global Aerospace Business to support profitable growth and remedial action.
• Develop, analyse, and enhance technical pricing tools using Python.
• Report and analyse account- and rating-factor-level performance using R to help underwriters optimise results.
• Lead transformation projects, including rater development and enhancement in HX and rating model development.
• Monitor renewal and new-business rates, review technical pricing models, and ensure deviations are justified and consistently managed across regions.
• Lead profitability studies and business planning, ensure pricing data quality, and train and mentor junior staff.

Requirements

• Degree in Mathematics or a related discipline.
• Significant experience in actuarial pricing within commercial or personal lines.
• Experience leading actuarial projects.
• Strong coding skills in R and Python.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Compliance with regulatory, risk management, and global decision-making standards.
