Internal Communications & Change Specialist

Location: Dallas, Texas, United States; inside working conditions with prolonged sitting and use of office equipment.

Base pay: $70,700–$92,000 per year.

What you will do

• Execute strategic communications and change plans and advise internal clients on messaging, channels, processes, budgets, and effectiveness.
• Support AI agents and automated workflows for routine business-as-usual communications.
• Develop communication tactics and plans aligned with business priorities, audiences, timelines, and distribution channels.
• Create, edit, and design internal content for intranet articles, emails, executive messaging, print, video, webcasting, and podcasts.
• Manage the enterprise editorial and communications calendar and coordinate timely production and distribution.
• Assess change scope and readiness, identify resistance or risks, support internal events, and improve communications processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, organizational change, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or digital marketing.
• Experience or strong aptitude with Generative AI, LLMs, and workflow automation tools such as Gemini, ChatGPT, Jasper, Zapier, or proprietary AI agents.
• Proficiency in AI-assisted copywriting, content creation, channel management, data visualization, and data analysis.
• Knowledge of Mailchimp, Google Templates, ContactMonkey, Workshop, Poppulo, Google Sheets, and distribution-list data manipulation.
• Portfolio of successful communications campaigns, such as newsletters, social media posts, podcasts, or SMS strategies.
