Service Operations Specialist (Financial Services)

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States. Employees work in the office at least four days per week, with flexibility to work from home one day per week.

Base pay: $26.15–$35.96 per hour.

What you will do

• Analyze summary and exception information from brokerage reconciliation reports.
• Research reporting issues using in-house and vendor systems, investigate exceptions, and support resolution of client and advisor escalations.
• Transmit reporting exceptions to vendors and validate updates to client websites.
• Document metrics, processes, reporting enhancements, and recommendations for internal and external partners.
• Collaborate with Cost Basis, Clearing Tax Reporting, Tax Quality, Output Processing, and other cross-functional teams.
• Support small to medium-sized projects and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent, with 3–5 years of relevant experience; education and experience may be combined.
• Strong analytical, quantitative and qualitative problem-solving, prioritization, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and learn new processes and systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and PowerPoint, for evaluating and communicating data.
• Valid United States work authorization is required without current or future visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Science, or a related field.
• Brokerage operations experience and experience processing corporate action events.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, queries, and macros.
• Experience with additional data software or programming languages.
