Director, MP&L - Industrial Power (Supply Chain)

Location: Southfield, Michigan, United States. Domestic and international travel of at least 25% is required. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Salary: Base pay varies based on market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

What you will do

• Lead the MP&L strategy and execution for the Industrial Power business, covering planning, inventory, supplier delivery, logistics, and customer delivery.
• Manage high-volume make-to-order and make-to-stock supply chain models across multiple channels.
• Lead S&OP and S&OE deployment, standardized planning disciplines, and integrated supply chain transformation initiatives.
• Improve customer and supplier OTIF, inventory turns, working capital efficiency, and freight cost performance.
• Partner with Operations, Procurement, Finance, Sales, Program Management, HR, and IT to resolve supply chain challenges and support strategic projects.
• Lead and develop a high-performing MP&L team across multiple sites, including reporting, performance management, budgeting, and escalations.

Requirements

• Fluent English is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, or an equivalent discipline.
• 12+ years of experience in supply chain or materials management, including 7+ years leading planning, logistics, or supply chain operations.
• Experience in automotive, industrial, electronics, or manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of S&OP, inventory management, forecasting, and production planning.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship; visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

Nice to have

• MBA or MSc in Supply Chain or a related field.
• APICS / ASCM certification, including CPIM or CSCP.
• Six Sigma or Lean certification.
• Experience leading global supply chain initiatives.
• Spanish or Mandarin language skills.
