Director, Global Planning

Location: Remote, United States; travel up to 25% of the time.

Salary: $161,000–$226,000 per year, plus a competitive benefits package.

What you will do

• Lead global SIOP and operations planning strategy, execution, and continuous improvement.
• Develop demand, production, supply, inventory, materials, and site-level planning processes using forecasts, firm demand, historical usage, and lean methodologies.
• Integrate inventory, planning, and allocation processes with cross-functional Operations and Information Technology teams.
• Analyze trends and future demand, forecast resource needs, identify scheduling challenges, and establish KPIs for planning efficiency.
• Improve ERP planning maturity and deliver the roadmaps, solutions, and resources required to meet customer commitments.
• Hire, coach, mentor, develop, and manage a high-performing global planning workforce.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
• At least 10 years of supply chain experience, including at least 5 years leading ERP planning teams in a multi-site environment.
• Extensive experience in lean manufacturing, S&OP, demand planning, supply planning, production planning, inventory management, and materials management.
• Expertise in ERP planning tools, forecast and inventory modeling, complex workflow design, and process documentation.
• Strong leadership, collaboration, project management, problem-solving, change management, mentoring, and continuous improvement skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Operations, Information Technology, planning, and analytics teams.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in supply chain, an MBA, or a related field.
• Experience with Glovia, Power BI, and other reporting software.
• APICS certification or equivalent.
