Analyst, Revenue Accounting

What you will do

• Manage accounting, reporting, and analysis for investment income, management fees, incentive fees and income, related compensation expenses, and fund-related transactions.
• Prepare revenue accounting schedules, fee and incentive compensation calculations, general ledger analyses, balance sheet reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Analyze investment management agreements and fee arrangements to determine accounting treatment and revenue recognition under US GAAP and ASC 606.
• Support month-end and quarter-end close activities, including roll-forward schedules, variance analysis, and GAAP-to-non-GAAP reconciliations.
• Coordinate with Fund Accounting, International Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Investor Relations, and other stakeholders to reconcile cash activity and support financial reporting.
• Maintain internal controls, support financial systems initiatives involving Workday, and identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.

Requirements

• Chartered Accountant qualification with 3–4 years of post-qualification experience in revenue accounting.
• Practical knowledge of US GAAP, particularly ASC 606.
• Experience with revenue accounting involving investment income, management fees, and/or incentive fee arrangements.
• Knowledge of general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, financial analysis, and month-end close processes.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Nice to have

• Experience in asset management, banking, private equity, alternative investments, or broader financial services.
• Experience with Workday Financials or similar ERP systems.
