Revenue & Project Accounting Manager (Workday)

Location: Platina Tower, Gurgaon, Haryana 122002, India; onsite, full time

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end revenue operations, including contract review, billing, revenue recognition, and collections oversight.
• Oversee T&M, milestone, fixed-fee, and subscription-based invoicing.
• Configure contracts, projects, cost rates, billing rates, revenue schedules, and budgets in Workday PSA.
• Monitor project revenue, costs, margins, and percentage-of-completion tracking.
• Manage deferred revenue, unbilled revenue, and contract asset and liability reconciliations.
• Improve billing accuracy and cycle times, establish revenue cutoffs and internal controls, support reporting and audits, and lead revenue and project accounting staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience focused on revenue accounting and project-based environments.
• Experience working with or supporting US-based companies is required.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, including ASC 606 revenue recognition principles.
• Experience with contract accounting, billing operations, project financial management, and multiple billing models.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis, plus strong cross-functional communication skills.

Nice to have

• Direct experience with Workday Financials and Workday PSA.
• CPA or equivalent professional certification.
• PowerPoint skills.
