Senior Accountant - Revenue Contract (SaaS)

hirify.global's Finance – Accounting department supports revenue operations and financial reporting across the customer lifecycle.

What you will do

• Review customer contracts, order forms, amendments, and renewals for revenue recognition implications under ASC 606.
• Analyze performance obligations, pricing, billing structures, variable consideration, termination rights, and payment terms.
• Evaluate contract modifications, renewals, terminations, refunds, and multi-element arrangements.
• Support SSP reviews, transaction price allocation, revenue schedule validation, month-end close, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Prepare audit-ready revenue memos and supporting documentation while responding to internal and external audit requests.
• Partner with Deal Desk, Legal, Sales, Customer Success, Revenue Accounting, and Finance to improve processes, controls, documentation, and automation.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in Revenue Accounting, Technical Accounting, or a similar role.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and US GAAP revenue recognition principles.
• Experience reviewing contracts, interpreting commercial terms, and documenting accounting conclusions.
• Experience with SaaS, subscription-based, or technology-driven business models.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills; familiarity with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite.
