Crusher Mechanic (Heavy Equipment)

Location: Belle Glade, Florida, United States; onsite

What you will do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair crushers, conveyors, screens, feeders, and related aggregate processing equipment.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
• Inspect equipment for wear, damage, and potential failures, and recommend corrective actions.
• Repair or replace bearings, belts, rollers, motors, pulleys, and hydraulic components.
• Respond to breakdowns, perform emergency repairs, and assist operators with machine adjustments.
• Complete maintenance records and work with supervisors and operations personnel to prioritize repairs.

Requirements

• Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing crushing, screening, or heavy industrial equipment.
• Working knowledge of hydraulic systems, conveyors, bearings, and mechanical power transmission components.
• Ability to interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and maintenance procedures.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, diagnostic troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to work outdoors, climb equipment structures, work in confined spaces, and lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Availability for 50+ hour work weeks and day and night shifts is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in aggregate, mining, quarry, or material processing operations.
• Welding and fabrication experience.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and equipment inspection procedures.
• Ability to operate loaders, skid steers, or telehandlers.
