Heavy Equipment Mechanic (Construction Equipment)

Location: Lomira, Wisconsin, United States. The role requires 100% travel and assistance with concrete paving operations when equipment maintenance needs are met.

What you will do

• Repair and maintain construction and utility-related equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and keep equipment in functional condition.
• Repair engine failures, replace parts, and address equipment body damage.
• Diagnose issues involving hydraulics, drivetrains, controls, and electrical systems.
• Assist with concrete paving operations after equipment maintenance needs are addressed.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience working on construction or utility-related equipment.
• Basic computer proficiency and the ability to provide basic hand tools.
• Willingness to work under a union collective bargaining agreement.
• Willingness to travel 100%.
• Ability to move or operate heavy equipment is desired.

Nice to have

• Experience with hydraulics, drivetrains, controls, and electrical diagnostics.
• Welding experience.
