TL;DR
Contracts Administrator I (Aerospace & Defense): Supporting proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and contract administration for aerospace and defense programs with an accent on contract documentation, customer coordination, and financial tracking. Focus on reviewing agreements, tracking CDRL submissions, reconciling accounts receivable, and maintaining compliance with company, legal, and customer requirements.

Location: Lone Tree, Colorado, United States; primarily office-based with occasional travel of less than 10%.

Salary: $29.03–$39.92 per hour.

What you will do

  • Support proposal preparation, contract negotiations, contract administration, and customer contact activities.
  • Serve as a secondary point of contact for assigned contractual matters and coordinate communications with internal and external customers.
  • Review, recommend, and negotiate Non-Disclosure Agreements in coordination with the Contracts Manager.
  • Support customer negotiations with Program Management and Pricing Support.
  • Track, reconcile, close, and report unbilled and accounts receivable activity, including invoice issue resolution.
  • Track and submit contracts and CDRL documentation while following company processes and guidelines.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in a related field, or relevant experience substituted for the education requirement.
  • 0–2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to plan, organize, multitask, prioritize, and meet multiple deadlines.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Current and active Top Secret with SCI eligibility U.S. security clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.

Nice to have

  • Experience in the aerospace and defense industry.
  • Familiarity with government contracting requirements, including FAR and DFARS regulations.
  • Problem-solving ability with originality, creativity, and initiative.
