Sr Quality Engineer (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and improve the Quality Management System.
• Lead quality system tools including process flows, PFMEA, control plans, work instructions, and MSA.
• Lead CAPA processes, root cause investigations, and corrective actions through timely closure.
• Support ISO and third-party certification activities, PPAP, and First Article Inspection.
• Develop inspection and testing standards, analyze quality metrics, and drive improvements.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations while supporting supplier quality and traveling to customer and supplier sites as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 2–3 years of manufacturing or quality experience.
• Strong root cause analysis, problem-solving, communication, and data analysis skills.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Temporary visas and candidates requiring current or future work authorization sponsorship are not eligible.

Nice to have

• Experience in assembly or machining environments.
• ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 certification experience.
• Experience with PPAP, FAI, CAPA, supplier quality, Lean, or continuous improvement.
• Experience with Power BI, Minitab, or advanced analytics tools.
