Customer Service Manager

Location: Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada; full-time, onsite

Salary: CAD 24.62–30.82 per hour

What you will do

• Oversee auction administration processes, sale-day staffing, service levels, and operating costs.
• Lead, hire, coach, and train the customer service team on registrations, payments, refunds, invoicing inquiries, ownership details, and complaints.
• Process DMV transfer documents, sales tax and exemption certificates, contract data, and customer records.
• Reconcile sales, collect accounts receivable, complete banking duties, and coordinate auction supplies.
• Maintain auction systems, follow up on customer inquiries, and provide accurate reporting across the organization.
• Build relationships with customers, financial institutions, taxation offices, and motor vehicle branches while escalating complex issues to senior management.

Requirements

• At least two years of customer service experience in a related field and one year in a supervisory role.
• Strong computer skills, accurate and fast data entry, and the ability to learn new systems.
• Experience with sales tax collection, exemptions, remittance, and knowledge of local DMV rules for motor vehicle sales.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, organizational, time-management, communication, diplomacy, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to work independently in high-pressure situations, adapt to change, maintain attention to detail, and work effectively with a diverse customer base and workforce.
• Legally entitled to work in Canada.

• DMV document processing experience.
• Thorough knowledge of equipment specifications and contract details for data entry.
