IT Business Analyst - Quality Assurance - NDS

Location: Hybrid work with 24 hours per week in the office; external candidates must reside within 30 miles of Centennial, CO; Lincoln, NE; Sidney, NE; or Madison, WI. United States citizenship is required for the Department of Education security clearance.

Annual compensation: $75,000–$110,000, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Analyze business systems, user needs, business processes, and functional requirements.
• Define solutions, document requirements, update system documentation, and evaluate implementation scenarios.
• Develop test scenarios, test scripts, acceptance criteria, and test plans for functional, interface, data, system integration, regression, and UAT cycles.
• Lead testing activities, facilitate User Acceptance Testing, analyze results, and communicate outcomes.
• Identify, document, track, and prioritize defects while providing usability feedback.
• Act as a liaison between clients, operations, testers, and technical teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst, or detailed knowledge of several system functions.
• Working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet tools, SQL, HTML, Adobe Acrobat, and internet technologies.
• Strong communication, analytical, consensus-building, multitasking, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to obtain United States Government security clearance; applicants must be United States citizens because foreign-national clearance applications are not accepted for this contract.
