Crane Pumps & Systems is a Crane Co. business that manufactures engineered pumping solutions for the water and wastewater market.

What you will do

• Develop, plan, and deploy the business unit’s multi-year growth strategy with the CP&S President.
• Translate strategy into operating plans, growth initiatives, investment roadmaps, and the annual operating plan.
• Conduct market intelligence, voice-of-customer research, competitive analysis, and financial and ROI modeling.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Engineering, Operations, and Finance on positioning, KPIs, portfolio strategy, and execution priorities.
• Lead M&A strategy, including market adjacency analysis, target screening, pipeline management, due diligence, valuation, and integration planning.
• Prepare executive- and board-ready strategy updates, growth narratives, initiative scorecards, and performance tracking.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; an MBA is preferred.
• An undergraduate degree in Engineering or Science is preferred.
• At least 2 years of post-MBA experience in strategy consulting or corporate development.
• Experience in industrial manufacturing or an adjacent industry is preferred.
• Ideally, at least 2 years of pre-MBA experience in an industrial or adjacent industry.
• Role location: Piqua, Ohio, United States.
