is a staffing firm providing contingent labor to enterprise clients. The end client is a large legal organization operating in more than 100 countries with over 50,000 employees.
What you will do
- Own database components of complex, transformational infrastructure solutions.
- Design database structures, physical architectures, security, backup, and recovery specifications.
- Install, integrate, maintain, and optimize database systems across multiple vendors and applications.
- Identify and resolve production and application-development issues while maintaining database performance.
- Lead internal, supplier, and multidisciplinary technology teams through solution delivery.
- Develop technology strategies, conceptual designs, business cases, and repeatable solution propositions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, Mathematics, analytical modeling, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of professional experience in database technology, architecture, hosting technologies, and cloud.
- At least 10 years of technical experience and 5 years of leadership experience.
- Broad experience with Oracle, MS SQL, NoSQL, flat-file data structures, EDW, ETL, stored procedures, query QA, clustering, high availability, and modern data analytics.
- Experience in technology operations and service delivery.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, consulting, commercial awareness, and people-management skills.
