Data Architect

Location: Tampa, Florida, United States; full-time role with possible remote work requirements depending on business needs.

What you will do

• Design and deliver scalable, durable data infrastructure and enterprise data solutions.
• Integrate line-of-business data into data warehouses and present information through data visualization tools.
• Design, modify, test, and implement data warehouses and related ETL functions.
• Create SQL Server database objects, including tables, views, stored procedures, functions, indexes, triggers, agent jobs, and schedules.
• Build and maintain Informatica ETL mappings, workflows, worklets, and data storage solutions.
• Lead data management, governance, metadata, data dictionary, data modeling, access, and database security efforts.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related business field.
• At least six years of experience designing and delivering enterprise solutions.
• At least eight years of experience with Microsoft tools, including SSIS, SSRS, and SQL.
• Three to four years of Informatica ETL development experience, including reusable transformations, partition techniques, and data modeling.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, data marts, data warehouses, data modeling, ETL, and data management.
• Experience with or ability to develop expertise in a reporting or visualization tool such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik, plus strong communication, problem-solving, organizational, and influencing skills.

Nice to have

• DBA certification.
• Experience with health and welfare plan administration systems, including claims, eligibility, and pensions.
