What you will do
- Lead end-to-end operations for technical accounting and business services, including premium collection, claims payout, data processing, and ledger management.
- Drive digitization, automation, and process improvements across the operational portfolio.
- Manage data quality, operational controls, governance, and financial and reputational risk mitigation.
- Lead and develop a team of 8–10 professionals, fostering accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
- Manage internal and external stakeholders and deliver proactive customer service.
- Oversee budgets, cost allocations, and business steering reports.
Requirements
- At least five years of managerial experience in financial services, insurance, reinsurance, or shared services.
- Experience managing and developing teams.
- Knowledge of premium processing, claims management, ledger management, and financial reporting in a Life & Health or reinsurance context.
- Experience designing, improving, and governing end-to-end operational processes, including controls and automation.
- Experience using data analytics and digital tools for operational decision-making and reporting.
- Fluency in English and Portuguese is required.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Life & Health insurance or reinsurance products in Brazil or Latin America.
- Experience in change management or digital transformation projects.
- Spanish proficiency.
- Experience in a multinational or matrix organization.
