Country Manager, Brazil (Fintech)

What you will do

• Develop and implement the Brazil business plan, allocating resources to achieve revenue, margin, and growth targets.
• Own the commercial plan, sales performance, client acquisition, and local distribution proposition.
• Oversee P&L performance, financial reporting, and corrective actions.
• Build relationships with partners, intermediaries, institutional counterparties, clients, regulators, banks, and service providers.
• Establish and manage the local office and the entity’s administrative foundation, including payroll, banking, filings, premises, and service providers.
• Coordinate with hirify.global Group functions and maintain effective policies, internal controls, and regulatory reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above; an MBA or postgraduate qualification is advantageous.
• At least 7 years of experience in Brazil’s financial or capital markets sector, including 5 years in senior management or statutory officer roles.
• Proven sales, distribution, or business development results with accountability for revenue or client growth in regulated financial services.
• Knowledge of equities, exchange-traded funds, investment services, and distribution networks in Brazil.
• Working knowledge of the Central Bank and CVM regulatory framework, including internal controls, suitability, and customer relationship obligations.
• Native or fully fluent Portuguese and business-level English at B2 or above are required. Candidates must also satisfy the Central Bank of Brazil’s fit and proper requirements.

Nice to have

• MBA or postgraduate qualification.
• Experience building or managing intermediary, investment agent, or partner distribution networks.
• Readiness for appointment as a statutory officer of an institution authorized by the Central Bank of Brazil.
