Filling Machine Operator - 2nd Shift (Medical Manufacturing)

Location: Grand Island, NY, United States; onsite, 2nd shift from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday through Friday

Salary: $21.50–$22.50 per hour

What you will do

• Operate high-speed computerized filling equipment in a clean-room and temperature-controlled manufacturing environment.
• Clean, set up, and perform changeovers on filling lines.
• Perform minor maintenance and support breakdown recovery for filling equipment.
• Use proper aseptic technique while following standard operating procedures.
• Complete required production documentation and maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Manufacturing experience and strong mechanical aptitude.
• Experience in a medical, food, or other cGMP production environment is strongly preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds chest high.
• Ability to wear clean-room safety equipment and apparel and remain current on required training.
• Effective spoken and written English comprehension is required for policies, procedures, training materials, and workplace communications.
