Customer Service Representative 1 (Cycling)

Location: Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada; office environment with occasional work at local bike events and races.

Salary: CAD 37,960.00–51,547.86 per year.

What you will do

• Assist customers and dealers by phone, email, and web chat with orders, product inquiries, lead times, troubleshooting, and basic account information.
• Use product expertise to recommend suitable products and alternatives based on customer needs.
• Process customer and dealer orders, including specials and promotions.
• Support new dealer applications and accounts.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and improve the customer experience.
• Potentially support local bike events and races.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• In-depth knowledge of bikes, accessories, bicycle suspension, bicycle parts, and the cycling industry.
• Clear communication, active listening, empathy, patience, self-control, and positive language skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, manage time, and maintain attention to detail.
• Basic to advanced Microsoft Office skills, with an emphasis on Excel.
• Ability to sit for long periods and work extensively on a computer and telephone; ability to lift up to 50 lbs. when working at an event.
