Maintenance Technician (NIGHT) (Manufacturing)

Location: Star, Mississippi, United States; onsite night shift starting at 6:30 pm, with on-call and shift work required

Compensation: $3,000 sign-on bonus

What you will do

• Repair and install plant production equipment at a dry-ice facility.
• Complete assigned preventive maintenance and inspect equipment for safe, proper operation.
• Collaborate with production supervisors during repairs and respond to time-sensitive outages.
• Identify safety hazards and quality deficiencies and report them to maintenance management.
• Operate forklifts or pallet jacks, enter maintenance and inventory data, and assist with production needs.
• Perform facility cleanup, including sweeping, washing, painting, and trash removal.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and minimum age of 21.
• Three years of maintenance experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to repair plant production equipment.
• Formal training in one or more of industrial maintenance, hydraulics, industrial electrical systems, PLC programming, industrial refrigeration, compressors, or pneumatics.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds, safely use hand tools, climb ladders, and work overhead.
• Ability to work safely in a noisy, unconditioned facility with elevated CO2 vapor, wet or oily floors, dry ice, PPE requirements, night shifts, weekends, and on-call coverage.
