What you will do
- Support the preparation and submission of financial and MAS regulatory reports for Singapore entities.
- Assist with statutory financial statements, regulatory returns, quarter-end and year-end close activities, journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
- Maintain reporting and audit documentation, investigate variances and exceptions, and ensure deliverables are accurate and timely.
- Follow financial reporting controls and support internal and external audit requests.
- Collaborate with Finance, Risk, Tax, Actuarial, and other business functions to obtain reporting information and resolve issues.
- Contribute to finance transformation, reporting process improvements, and standard operating procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, regulatory reporting, audit, or accounting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet reporting deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and willingness to develop technical expertise in financial and regulatory reporting.
- Knowledge of IFRS and regulatory reporting concepts is desirable.
Nice to have
- ACCA, CPA, or an equivalent professional accounting qualification, completed or in progress.
- Experience in insurance, reinsurance, or financial services.
- Experience with SAP, Power BI, or other ERP systems.
