Customer Satisfaction Engineer (Automotive)

Location: Onsite at the customer’s site near Ostrava, Czech Republic; the role is currently posted in Bakov nad Jizerou

What you will do

• Ensure customer satisfaction and quality KPI performance across assigned value streams.
• Act as the main contact for customer quality issues, lead escalations, and manage customer communication.
• Own quality problem management, coordinate containment actions, and drive corrective actions using structured problem-solving methods.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives such as PDCA, QRQC, and Kaizen while monitoring production processes and quality risks.
• Ensure safe implementation of product and process changes, including PPAP, additional quality controls, PFMEA, and project launch activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams, plants, and suppliers to develop quality assurance systems and effective controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in quality engineering, preferably in the automotive industry, including customer quality issues and audits.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949, AIAG, VDA, PPAP, PFMEA, control plans, and audit processes.
• Experience with 8D, PDCA, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
• Strong data analysis, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English, spoken and written, and willingness to work directly from the customer’s site.
