Sr. Technical Program Manager, AI Security

Location: Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States; 70% in-office work model. Only U.S. persons are eligible.

Salary: $145,900–$234,200 annually, plus potential bonus, incentive compensation, or equity.

What you will do

• Scope, execute, report on, and measure complex AI-readiness programs using structured, data-driven, and risk-based methods.
• Manage multiple high-visibility workstreams, including vendors, schedules, scope, costs, risks, and remediation strategies.
• Oversee the architecture and lifecycle of enterprise AI systems, including agent identity, tool authorization, secure development, governance, regulatory alignment, and production monitoring.
• Own the operating model for AI pilots, cohorts, phased rollouts, and governed enablement programs.
• Partner with cybersecurity, infrastructure, identity and endpoint engineering, GRC, AI engineering, data, software engineering, learning, and business stakeholders.
• Build processes, templates, communications, metrics, and stakeholder relationships that improve infrastructure and security practices.

Requirements

• 8+ years of Technical Program Management or Engineering Program Management experience in AI/ML-heavy environments.
• U.S. person status is required due to U.S. export control laws; non-U.S. persons cannot be sponsored for an export control license.
• Technical depth in AI/ML systems, model training pipelines, LLMs, MLOps, data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with AI development platforms, copilots, developer tooling, AI-assisted engineering, responsible AI, model governance, or compliance frameworks.
• Ability to scope and drive complex, multi-workstream programs, define metrics, analyze tradeoffs, manage vendors, and influence without direct authority.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level storytelling, in highly matrixed and global environments.

Nice to have

• Background in software engineering, data science, or machine learning.
• Experience with GxP environments and regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Airflow, MLflow, governed enablement models, or similar MLOps stacks.
• Experience improving developer productivity and building internal tools or platforms.
