Process Engineer III - Data Analytics (Biotech)

Location: El Segundo, California, United States

Salary: $115,260–$149,160 per year, plus potential annual bonus, stock-based incentives, paid time off, and benefits.

What you will do

• Enable data-driven manufacturing decisions through continued process verification, process monitoring, and investigations.
• Monitor critical process parameters, critical quality attributes, and in-process controls to identify variability and emerging risks.
• Lead data analysis for deviations, OOT/OOS events, root-cause investigations, and process improvement initiatives.
• Apply SPC, regression, multivariate analysis, and predictive analytics to evaluate process performance.
• Develop dashboards, automation, data pipelines, and integrations with MES, LIMS, and data platforms.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, and global network teams on process changes, technical reports, technology transfers, inspections, and lifecycle management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics, data science, or a related field.
• Experience leading investigations, authoring technical reports, and working in a cGMP manufacturing environment.
• Experience with manufacturing analytics, continued process verification, or process monitoring.
• Strong knowledge of applied statistics, including SPC, regression, and multivariate analysis.
• Experience with JMP, SQL, visualization tools such as Tableau, Spotfire, or QuickSight, and computer system validation.
• Experience working cross-functionally with manufacturing and quality teams.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of cell therapy manufacturing and CAR-T products.
• Experience with automation, dashboards, data pipelines, MES, LIMS, GPDL, or data platform integrations.
• Experience with predictive modeling, machine learning, and AI-enabled manufacturing solutions.
• Experience working with global teams or cross-site initiatives.
