Location: Remote from anywhere in the Continental United States; the selected candidate must reside in New Jersey

Salary: $134,600–$249,000 per year

What you will do

  • Lead the design, execution, and ongoing effectiveness of the New Jersey market compliance program.
  • Oversee CMS Medicare requirements, SNP obligations, regulatory filings, Medicaid contract amendments, and other compliance deliverables.
  • Serve as the senior compliance contact for state agencies, regulatory meetings, audits, committees, and market-level escalations.
  • Identify, assess, document, and reduce compliance and business risks with Enterprise Risk Management and market leaders.
  • Direct internal audits, monitoring, corrective action plans, delegated-entity oversight, and vendor remediation.
  • Lead, coach, and develop compliance team members while reporting risks, trends, and remediation progress to leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of compliance program management and contract experience with state Medicaid programs, including internal and state audits.
  • 5+ years of experience working with healthcare regulatory agencies and developing compliance and fraud programs.
  • 5+ years overseeing the implementation of contract requirements.
  • Deep knowledge of New Jersey Medicaid and applicable state regulatory requirements.
  • Residence in New Jersey is required.

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree in a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in compliance or Enterprise Risk Management.
