Experienced PFAS Scientist (PFAS)

Location: West Columbia, South Carolina, United States; onsite laboratory work. Schedule: Sunday through Thursday, 4:00 PM–1:00 AM

Compensation: $18.00 per hour

What you will do

• Operate laboratory instruments including GC, HPLC, ICP, and related equipment.
• Analyze air, water, and soil samples for environmental contaminants using established chemistry and biochemistry methods.
• Review and interpret sample analysis results.
• Document procedures, observations, and results in organized laboratory records.
• Clean, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, another STEM-related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Ability to work effectively in a laboratory environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, work around strong odors, and wear required personal protective equipment.
• Training is provided.
