Quality Control Manager (Construction)

Location: Farmington, New Mexico, United States. Single-project assignments require 100% in-person support; roles supporting multiple projects require 50–80% travel. Work includes construction-site exposure and all weather conditions.

What you will do

• Develop, communicate, and implement project quality plans in accordance with the company quality management system and project requirements.
• Monitor quality activities, project KPIs, documentation, records, and compliance with contract specifications.
• Manage nonconformances, deficiencies, NCRs, corrective actions, and preventive actions, including effectiveness verification.
• Identify quality risks through pre-activity meetings, quality walks, work-plan reviews, and internal audits.
• Coordinate third-party testing and inspection personnel and resolve quality issues with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Train project teams on quality management processes and promote continuous improvement and strong client communication.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 2–5 years of relevant technical, quality, or construction experience.
• Knowledge of USACE, DOT, ASTM, ACI, and AASHTO construction standards is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, problem-solving, time-management, and prioritization skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Outlook, SharePoint, and project management software.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle record check.
