Legal Technology & AI Attorney - Litigation (AI)

Location: Based in any U.S. office, including California, Colorado, Texas, New York, and Washington, D.C.

Annual compensation: $250,000–$300,000, depending on qualifications and operational considerations.

What you will do

• Partner with litigation practice groups to identify and improve workflows using AI and legal technology.
• Design and implement workflows for legal research, motion practice, deposition preparation, case strategy, and trial preparation.
• Evaluate, configure, test, and pilot AI platforms and litigation technology for document analysis, legal research, case analytics, and drafting.
• Develop prompt frameworks, prompt libraries, structured workflows, and AI-assisted templates for litigation tasks.
• Collaborate with IT, Information Security, Knowledge Management, litigators, and vendors on integrations, governance, quality control, and product evaluations.
• Train attorneys and professional staff and create documentation, playbooks, and best practices for responsible AI use.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 3–5 years of litigation experience at a law firm or in-house legal department.
• Experience with legal research, motion practice, deposition preparation, and case strategy.
• Familiarity with generative AI tools, prompt engineering, legal research platforms, document management systems, and litigation drafting workflows.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, verbal, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Experience managing legal technology projects or implementations.
• Experience developing internal technology training or adoption strategies.
• Familiarity with litigation analytics, AI-assisted legal research, APIs, integrations, or workflow automation.
• Interest in emerging AI, legal technology, and data-driven litigation strategy.
