Innovation Attorney - Litigation (AI)

Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United States; working hours may need to align with global teams and business partners.

Salary: $160,000–$250,000 annualized for full-time positions in New York and Washington, DC; compensation depends on experience, equity, market data, location, and other job-related factors.

What you will do

• Advise litigation practice groups, lawyers, matter teams, and clients on applying generative AI and other legal technologies.
• Develop tailored technology strategies, templates, custom workflows, and solutions for specific litigation matters.
• Replicate successful innovation approaches across practice groups and matters.
• Partner with technology teams to identify solution enhancements, investments, and implementation projects.
• Support client AI collaborations by onboarding teams, developing shared workflows, and addressing legal-tech functionality, security, and ethical-use questions.
• Increase lawyer adoption through training, communications, trend analysis, and collaboration with internal teams and vendors.

Requirements

• JD or equivalent degree and admission to the relevant state bar.
• At least two years of experience as a practicing lawyer or in legal operations, including litigation experience.
• Proficiency in technology, legal technology, artificial intelligence, and Microsoft Office products.
• Experience with strategic legal-technology projects, business analysis, solution design, consulting, or client-facing work.
• Knowledge of the litigation matter lifecycle and the ability to conceptualize and implement projects end-to-end.
• Strong communication, customer service, problem-solving, organization, flexibility, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience evaluating and implementing legal-tech solutions in a large law firm, corporate legal department, financial institution, or enterprise environment.
• Experience increasing adoption of legal-tech tools and enabling lawyers through targeted engagement methods.
