Sr Data & Analytics Developer

Location: Columbus, OH — hybrid, with 3 days on location

Salary: $96,600–$144,900 annually, plus an 8% annual bonus

What you will do

• Develop data models, datasets, reports, dashboards, and integrated analytics solutions.
• Extract and shape data using complex SQL and Python functions.
• Design interactive dashboards and promote self-service analytics across the business.
• Consult on Enterprise Data Warehouse and Data Lake design, data accessibility, quality, and reuse.
• Establish and monitor business intelligence standards, data governance policies, and stewardship procedures.
• Automate dataset completeness and data-quality monitoring while introducing predictive and data science capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• At least 3 years of experience with data acquisition methods and tools, including Tableau Prep, SQL, and Python.
• At least 3 years of experience with data visualization and analysis tools, including Tableau, Excel, Cognos Analytics, or Power BI.
• At least 3 years of experience working with relational databases.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require employer sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must work in the hybrid Columbus, Ohio arrangement, including 3 days on location.

Nice to have

• Utility industry experience.
• Experience with statistical modeling.
• Experience as a data steward and knowledge of data governance.
