Senior Audit Data Analyst (AI)

Location: Madrid, Spain; hybrid work with an expectation to be in the office at least three days per week

Base salary: EUR 56,000–94,000 per year for a full-time role, plus potential performance-based annual bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead data-driven audit approaches in partnership with auditors.
• Understand key risks, controls, and business processes, then identify and acquire relevant data.
• Perform analytical assessments and discuss insights with audit teams and auditees.
• Develop GenAI assistants and agents across risk assessment, audit scoping, control testing, and reporting.
• Share expertise, coach junior analysts and auditors, and strengthen analytics capabilities across Group Internal Audit.

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Experience translating business requirements into analytical use cases and managing end-to-end analytics delivery.
• Experience working in agile environments and applying agile practices.
• Critical thinking, structured analysis, strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to influence stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience in Internal Audit, Risk Management, or Compliance.
• Experience applying machine learning techniques to business problems.
