Data Engineering Internship (m/f/x) (Python/SQL and Cloud Data Engineering): Building and optimizing ETL pipelines, data models, and validation processes at the Jijona Plant with an accent on reliable data foundations, statistical profiling, and business-focused solution delivery. Focus on designing experiments and A/B tests, monitoring pipeline and model performance, and applying Azure, Databricks, Git/GitHub, and CI/CD practices.
Location: Jijona Plant, Jijona, Spain
Salary: €1,200 gross/month, plus relocation allowance where applicable

What you will do
- Build and optimize ETL pipelines and contribute to data model design.
- Implement data quality, validation, and documentation standards.
- Perform statistical data profiling, including distributions, outliers, and missingness.
- Help design basic experiments and A/B tests and interpret statistical outcomes.
- Monitor pipeline and model performance, including latency, data drift, and metric stability.
- Gather requirements, manage stakeholder expectations, and communicate progress on assigned deliverables.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress.
- Python and SQL programming skills.
- Core statistics, including probability basics, sampling, and confidence intervals.
- Understanding of regression and classification fundamentals.
- Proficient Spanish and business-level English.
- Valid driver’s license.
Nice to have
- Cloud fundamentals and Databricks experience.
- Power BI or other reporting-tool experience.
- Active interest in AI/ML trends and hands-on experimentation.
