Multilingual Senior Data Research Analyst (Financial Data)

Location: Madrid, Spain; hybrid work with in-office collaboration each week, typically four days in the office.

Base salary: EUR 38,000–50,000 annually; annual bonus target: 7.5%.

What you will do

• Lead initiatives that improve the accuracy, timeliness, completeness, and coverage of investment data.
• Provide expertise on fund structures, data methodologies, and calculations.
• Build relationships with data providers, establish acquisition channels, and manage escalations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex data issues and support internal and external clients.
• Implement LEAN Six Sigma methodologies to improve processes and analytical tools.
• Translate internal client requests into detailed specifications and user stories for product enhancements.

Requirements

• Fluent English and at least two additional European languages from German, French, Dutch, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, Italian, Spanish, or Portuguese.
• Strong understanding of investment data, methodologies, and fund structures.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and data quality methodologies.
• Strong project management, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.
• Ability to manage high data volumes, meet strict deadlines, and collaborate with global data providers and business partners.
