Data Analyst (EU Funding)

What you will do

• Collect, assess, integrate and manage EU, national and administrative public-sector datasets.
• Clean, transform and harmonise structured and semi-structured data using SQL, Python, R or equivalent tools.
• Identify and standardise organisations, beneficiaries and other entities using record linkage, deduplication and reconciliation techniques.
• Design and maintain relational or analytical databases, metadata, data dictionaries and reproducible data-processing workflows.
• Define data-quality controls and perform exploratory, comparative and indicator-based analysis.
• Create visualisations, dashboards and reports, validate AI/NLP-assisted outputs, and present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• EQF Level 7 university degree plus at least 5 years of professional IT experience, or EQF Level 6 degree plus at least 7 years of experience.
• English at B2 level or higher, spoken and written.
• At least 3 years of experience with structured and semi-structured data analysis using SQL and Python, R or equivalent analytical programming languages.
• At least 3 years of experience in data extraction and transformation, relational or analytical databases, entity resolution, record linkage, deduplication and data-quality validation.
• At least 1 year of experience using Machine Learning, NLP or other AI-assisted methods for textual or unstructured data.
• At least 6 months of experience with EU funding or public-sector data, plus a recognised certification in data analytics, BI, data engineering, database management or data governance.

Nice to have

• Power BI, Qlik, Microsoft Fabric or equivalent BI experience.
• Experience with fuzzy or probabilistic matching, data lineage and heterogeneous administrative datasets.
• Experience validating ML, NLP, LLM or AI-assisted workflows.
• Experience with municipal or territorial data and international multidisciplinary teams.
